Attention: no insurance covers the interior of the car, the underside of the car as well as the tires. Cars that are returned very dirty have an additional charge of 10 euros for cleaning.
If you want to book for more than 20 days or if you do not find an available car on our website please contact us so we can serve you.
In order to complete the reservation, an advance payment of 30% of the total amount must be given. We inform you that the advance payment is not refunded in case of change/cancellation 14 days before the date of collection, while if the change/cancellation is made earlier, the rental cost of one day is not refunded.
Booking Confirmation
Orizon car rental requires the renter to pay 30% of the total amount of the reservation as a deposit in order for the reservation to be considered valid.
We inform you that the rental contract will be completed and signed in our office after you have been picked up from the area you have chosen.
Cancellation Policy (before the day of arrival):
If there is a cancellation 14+ days before the arrival date, 100% of the deposit is refunded. If the cancellation is made 14-days before the date of arrival, there is no refund.
Early Refunds – Unused Days or No-Shows:
Refunds are not available for early returns, unused days or renter no-shows.
Minimum lease period
The minimum rental period is 3 days.
Drivers’ age
The age limit is 21 years.
Driving License
For all car categories: Category B
The Driver’s License must have been issued at least 1 year before the rental start day. The lessee must hold a valid driver’s license (depending on the category).
Refunds are not available for vehicle rentals that do not meet a valid driver’s license. Faxes or photocopies of driving licenses are not accepted.
Collection / Delivery of the rented vehicle
Fuel Policy
The vehicle is checked upon delivery and upon return must be equipped with the same amount of fuel.
Rental rates
Rental rates are calculated on a 24-hour basis.
Taxes
24% VAT is included in the prices.
Transport of the rented vehicle outside of Alonissos.
Transportation outside Alonissos is not allowed.
Disposition of vehicles
Orizon car rental reserves the right to refuse the availability of a vehicle to any customer who, in its opinion, does not meet the prescribed legal conditions.
In the event that the renter is not satisfied with the vehicle he has reserved, he MUST IMMEDIATELY contact Orizon car rental.
Similar conditions must be resolved at the corporate base of Orizon car rental, in Alonissos. In the event that the above was not possible, the lessee’s claims may not be settled and may be rejected.
Number of passengers
Please check carefully the specifications of the vehicle you reserve via online booking. Orizon car rental disclaims responsibility in the event that the vehicle you have reserved is not large enough to meet your needs.
Conditions of Force Majeure
Orizon car rental bears no responsibility in the event that it is unable to execute its agreement due to delays and obstacles due to circumstances of force majeure, such as e.g. Natural Disaster.
The terms and conditions as well as the lease agreement are subject to Greek law and constitute a commitment for the lessee
The lessee assumes all responsibility for any violation of the KOK and pays the corresponding fine
